Chapter 7: The Varia Guardians Appear!

I'm really sorry everyone... I just realised a mistake I made. Chrome got the umbrella handle from Lambo on October 16, and only meets Ken and Chikusa for the first time on the 19th. (She loses them later on anyway...) Which means that the latest she would've met Yuki would be on October 20, which is also the date when the Lightning Ring battle occurs. (Meaning that the battles started on the 19th.) Sigh... But now that I've come this far, there's no point in redoing it right? I'll just continue with the story as usual...

Everyone turned in the direction I was looking at and saw a shadow jump out from the trees and landed.
"... That is the worst outfit I've seen in my life...."
".... So you guys did that."

"My opponent who weilds the Ring of Lightning... Is the kid with the perm."

If you interupt, I'll eliminate you all."

I took out a notebook and wrote: The Varia have ridiculous uniforms. Just as he was about to attack us, four more shadows appeared.
"Hold it Levi! Don't hunt them all on your own."
"Looks like there are other ring holders here as well."
"Wahh... T-This many...."
"VOIIII!!!! How dare you trick me!! You piece of trash!"
"He's here!"
"!!"
"Damn him!"
"Which one of ou weilds he ring of Rain?"
"Me."
"Oh, it's you. 3 seconds. I'll slice you up in 3 seconds."
"Eek!! No... That's bad..."
Just then another shadow appeared from the vegetation."
"Move."
"Ugh."
"!!Move."
"Voi! You have nothing to do with it!!"
"There he is... I never thought the day I would see him again would come... Xanxus."
"Eck! Wah!"
Tsunayoshi immediately fell backwards and the others seemed to not be able to move. I didn't reall catch what that Xanxus person said, but a concentrated ball of what seemed to be Sky flames started to form in his hand.
"This is bad!! Run!"
"Eh?!"
"Die."
I was about to take out the crest that they told me to show if I ever get into trouble with any sort of Mafiosos, but someone suddenly thew a pickaxe in front of Xanxus and I stopped as well.
"We're... Saved...?"
"Ah... He's..."
"From here on I'll take charge of things."
Taking this to be a chance to leave to a safer location to do my 'school project', I quietly left to a safer area to observe them. I had taken out a gun ust in case one of the Varia noticed me leaving and decided to attack me as they might've thought I was just someone who walked by and that I shouldn't find out about such mafia stuff....

I soon managed to find a building tall and close enough for my goggles to be able to zoom in and record the main sound without them noticing me.
